Volunteering
There are a great many activities that go on in school that benefit the pupils which require additional adults to help run the activities or support the children. This section describes the activities and what might be required from the volunteers. To participate in some of the activities, adults need to undergo a PVG check from Disclosure Scotland.
If you want to volunteer then there are lots of ways of doing that. Be aware that showing interest doesn’t commit you to being a volunteer, it just ensures that you are contacted to ask if you are interested. Ways of volunteering an interest are as follows:
1. You can email the school and state what events you would like to volunteer for or just state that you would like to be approached when any volunteering opportunity arises.
2. You can write a note to Mrs. Forsyth, the school administrator.
3. You can write a note to your child’s teacher.
